Chances are pretty high that you rode in a minivan as a kid. If your family did not own one then you know at least one family that did. Between then and today the look of a minivan has not really changed. No one syas “we are tired of how this looks, let's fix things up.” Until now. We are excited to introduce the all new 2022 Kia Carnival MPV. The Kia Carnival MPV is a new vehicle like the SUV and created with the utility of a van. Say goodbye to the rounded edges of old it is time for a new kid in town.

2022 Kia Carnival Is Big, Bold & Boxy

The 2022 Kia Carnival MPV was designed by Ken Chang who created a vehicle he would want to drive when he has kids. Say goodbye to the soccer mom van of old. The Kia Carnival MPV is designed with family in mind. It starts with a bold geometric grille, has a metallic bumper garnish, chunky wheel arches and a bold cut line along the length of the vehicle. Ken designed a beautiful vehicle made to comfortably transport a family or anything your imagination can think of.

The Kia Carnival MPV has a 3.5L V6 Engine and 8-Speed Automatic Transmission. It will have 290 Horsepower and come with a 3500 lb. towing capacity. The Carnival MPV is lighter and more aerodynamic, giving it a gas mileage of 22 MPG.

Inside the Kia Carnival MPV we find luxurious fixtures. Up front you’ll find a panoramic dashboard built to seamlessly combine with the infotainment system. Wireless phone charging, up to nine USB plug-ins, and 2 inverters are available. Plus you can create personal profiles to maximize your driving comfort and experience.

Drive the Carnival MPV like it is a spaceship of the future. Use the built in intercom to speak with people in the backseat without having to yell, and utilize the onboard cameras to check on everyone in the vehicle. No need to crane your neck in order to see who’s asleep or who is causing all the drama in the back.

Enjoy dual screen entertainment systems as well in the middle and back seats. Stream simultaneously so the entire car can participate.

7 and 8 Seat Options

The Kia Carnival MPV has options of 7 or 8 seats. With the 8 seat option, the center seat in the middle row will have a long sliding option for easier access to the back. Plus you can slide it closer to the front or fold the seat down to turn it into a table complete with cup holders.

With the 7 seat option turn your middle row into a VIP lounge. The two middle seats slide and offer a recline option that includes a footrest! No more fighting over shotgun with these seats.

Increase your storage space

In both the 7 and 8 seat options the second row seats are removable. Combine removable second row seats with a fully foldable third row and you can have a large amount of space for a strong storage capacity.

Kia has outdone itself once again with its all new 2022 Carnival MPV.  Enjoy driving and riding in the MPV and leave the soccer mom van in the past. Starting at $32,100 MSRP the Carnival MPV is ready for you.

The 2026 Kia Carnival Is the Family Vehicle You Actually Want to Drive

The 2026 Kia Carnival is powered by a 287-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine and offers up to 145.1 cubic feet of cargo space. It’s available in five trim levels including the LX, LSX, EX, XS, and the XS Prestige. The 2026 Kia Carnival is backed by Kia's industry-leading 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. If you're shopping for a vehicle that can handle the chaos of family life without looking like it gave up on style, the 2026 Kia Carnival deserves a long, hard look. It seats up to eight passengers, packs in more standard technology than most luxury SUVs, and starts at a price that won't keep you up at night. With its bold SUV-inspired exterior, a genuinely impressive interior, and a safety suite that covers nearly every scenario, the Carnival has evolved far beyond what people used to call a "minivan." This is a modern family vehicle done right. 2026 Kia Carnival Overview The 2026 Kia Carnival is a three-row, front-wheel-drive multi-purpose vehicle available in five gas-powered trim levels: LX, LXS, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. A 2026 Carnival Hybrid lineup runs parallel with four trims of its own. The gas model is assembled in South Korea and seats seven or eight passengers depending on second-row configuration. For 2026, available exterior colors include: Aurora Black Pearl Snow White Pearl Panthera Metal Flare Red Ceramic Silver Deep Chroma Blue Ivory Silver The SX Dark Edition package is also available on upper trims, adding a blacked-out grille, dark mirrors, dark badges, and 19-inch dark-finish wheels for a more assertive urban look. Wheel sizing scales with trim. The base LX rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the EX, SX, and SX Prestige step up to more prominent 19-inch designs. Front-Wheel Drive Performance Every gas-powered 2026 Carnival is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine that produces 287 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 260 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm. Power is sent to the front wheels through an 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is not available on the gas powered 2026 Carnival, but the front-wheel-drive setup is well-sorted and predictable. The four-wheel independent suspension features front and rear stabilizer bars for composed, controlled handling. Ground clearance sits at 6.8 inches, and the 2026 Carnival can tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped, making it surprisingly useful for light trailering duties. For shoppers who want better efficiency without giving up practicality, the 2026 Carnival Hybrid pairs a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor for a combined output of 242 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. EPA-Rated Fuel Economy The standard V6 2026 Carnival is EPA-rated at 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, with a combined rating of 21 mpg. The 19.0-gallon fuel tank gives you a highway range of approximately 475 miles on a full tank, and the engine runs on regular unleaded gasoline. Step up to the 2026 Carnival Hybrid and the numbers improve dramatically: the hybrid earns an EPA-estimated 33 mpg combined, nearly doubling the gas model's city fuel economy and making a compelling case for the higher upfront cost over time. Top Speeds The 2026 Kia Carnival's 3.5L V6 engine reaches 60 mph from a standstill in roughly 7.0 to 7.5 seconds. The newly introduced 1.6L turbo-hybrid powertrain, however, is a bit more leisurely off the line, with 0-60 mph times estimated between 7.8 and 9.2 seconds. Best In Class Interior The 2026 Kia Carnival interior is where this vehicle really makes its case. Cargo capacity reaches 145.1 cubic feet with all seats folded, and even with all three rows in use, there's still 40.2 cubic feet of space behind the third row. That's the best-in-class room by a significant margin. Color-selectable ambient interior lighting is available on higher trims, adding a polished, atmospheric feel to the cabin during evening drives. Both front seats come with multi-level heating standard, and ventilated front seats are available on the SX Prestige. Seating materials vary across the lineup. The base LX comes with cloth upholstery. The LXS, EX, and SX trims are fitted with leatherette surfaces. Available interior color combinations include: Tuscan Umber/Off-Black Leatherette Off-Black/Taupe Leatherette Deep Navy/Misty Gray Leatherette Caramel Leatherette The second row is where the 2026 Kia Carnival separates itself from the competition. The available Slide-Flex seating system lets the center second-row seat slide and fold into a flat table surface that passengers in both rear rows can use. On SX and SX Prestige trims, optional VIP Lounge Seats feature one-touch power recline, power footrests, and individual heating and ventilation for a genuine first-class experience. Strong in Technology Every 2026 Kia Carnival trim comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display. On upper trims, a second 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster display joins the party, creating a sweeping dual-screen panoramic setup that spans the entire width of the dashboard. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across all trims. Seven USB ports are distributed throughout the cabin, and wireless device charging is available. Google Assistant integration comes standard, and a Bose premium 12-speaker audio system is available. Available dual 14.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screens make long road trips dramatically more peaceful. Kia's Digital Key 2.0 lets you use a compatible smartphone as a key fob on upper trims. A Smart Power Tailgate allows hands-free access to the rear cargo area. An available Passenger View Camera with Night Vision uses the infotainment display to show rear-seat occupants even in low-light conditions. Standard Safety Features The 2026 Carnival comes equipped with 18 standard driver assistance features, placing it at the front of the class for standard safety content. Every trim includes: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist Lane Keeping Assist Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist Driver Attention Warning Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert Pre-Collision and Post-Collision Safety Systems Upper trims add additional safety features including: Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control With Stop And Go, Highway Driving Assist 2 For Semi-Autonomous Highway Travel, And The Full 360-Degree Camera Suite The airbag system includes dual front side-mounted airbags, front and rear and third-row head curtain airbags, and passenger airbag occupant-sensing deactivation. Four-wheel ABS, electronic stability control, and traction control round out the passive and active safety systems. Price of the 2026 Kia Carnival The 2026 Kia Carnival price starts around $37,000 MSRP for the base LX trim. That starting price puts it in a strong position against rivals like the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna, both of which start higher and offer less standard content. You can expect the top SX Prestige trim to cost around $52,000. Price by Trim It’s important to note that the prices listed below are strictly estimates. We highly recommend you visit your local Kia dealer in person to ensure accurate prices. LX: $37,390 LXS: $39,390 EX: $41,590 SX: $46,490 SX Prestige: $51,490 Kia Warranty Kia backs the 2026 Carnival with one of the most comprehensive warranties in the automotive industry. The basic bumper-to-bumper limited warranty runs 5 years or 60,000 miles, covering defects in materials and workmanship across the vehicle. The powertrain limited warranty extends to 10 years or 100,000 miles, covering the engine, transmission, and drivetrain components. Anti-perforation coverage protects the body against rust-through for 5 years with no mileage cap. Roadside assistance is included for 5 years or 60,000 miles. When you think of luxury vehicles, the Kia Carnival might not be the first minivan you think of. In fact, you might not think of a minivan as luxurious at all! Just because the stereotypical minivan owners are moms with kids, doesn’t mean they can’t be filled with luxury features! The 2025 Kia Carnival is a luxury minivan that doesn’t disappoint. Like all vehicles, there are several pros and cons of the 2025 Kia Carnival that are worth exploring. What's New for the 2025 Kia Carnival For 2025, Kia introduces several updates to the Carnival, including enhanced driver assistance features and updated tech options. While the powerful V-6 engine remains unchanged, there are subtle design tweaks and interior refinements that improve overall functionality and appeal. A new Nightfall Edition also brings a sleek, blacked-out aesthetic for drivers who want a more aggressive look. Pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival The 2025 Kia Carnival continues to blur the lines between a traditional minivan and a modern family hauler. Packed with features and designed for comfort, it's a strong contender in the world of family vehicles. But is it the right fit for you? Let’s take a closer look at the pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival. Stylish Exterior One of the pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival is that it stands out in a sea of minivans. It comes with a bold front grille, sculpted body lines, and available 19-inch alloy wheels. It looks more like a modern crossover than a traditional minivan, which appeals to those who want style and generous space. Practical V-6 Engine Under the hood, you’ll see that another one of the pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival is the engine. It’s equipped with a 3.5L V-6 engine, delivering 290 horsepower. This gives the Carnival enough strength for highway merging and full-family road trips. It’s also paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that offers smooth shifting and confident performance, even when fully loaded. Comfortable Seats Whether you’re in the front row or the third, the Kia Carnival is all about comfort. Available second-row VIP lounge seating offers recline and leg rest features, while premium materials and thoughtful design keep passengers happy on every drive. This is one of the highly desired pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival. Impressive Warranty One of the last pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival that we’ll mention is the impressive warranty. Kia continues to offer one of the best warranties in the business. The 2025 Kia Carnival comes with a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, providing peace of mind for years to come. Cons of the 2025 Kia Carnival It’s true that the 2025 Kia Carnival delivers a bold, SUV-like exterior with the versatility and space of a minivan. It’s also true that the 2025 Carnival offers seating for up to eight, advanced infotainment, and a quiet, refined ride. But is this minivan ideal only for families who want more than just practicality? Let’s take a look at the cons of the 2025 Kia Carnival. No All-Wheel Drive One of the cons of the 2025 Kia Carnival is the lack of an all-wheel drive option. Competing models offer AWD, which can be a key factor for drivers in colder climates or rougher terrain. No all-wheel drive isn’t the end of the world, but it might deter some potential minivan searchers… that’s why we’ve dubbed this as one of the cons of the 2025 Kia Carnival. Lack of Storage Cubbies While one of the pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival is the overall generous cargo space, some drivers may find a lack of smaller storage compartments up front. Compared to rivals, like the Honda Odyssey or Hyundai Palisade, there are fewer convenient places to stash personal items. Touchy Infotainment Controls The 2025 Kia Carnival infotainment and climate controls look sleek, but they’re not always intuitive. Some drivers have complained that a few of the functions are hidden in menus. Some also complain that the touch-sensitive buttons are tricky to operate while driving. Overall, this is a personal preference. Is The 2025 Kia Carnival Worth It? So now that you know the pros and cons of the 2025 Kia Carnival, you might be wondering, is the Kia Carnival worth it? There is no obvious answer to this question, as the answer will be different for everyone. It’s safe to say that we think the pros of the 2025 Kia Carnival outweigh the cons of the 2025 Kia Carnival. That’s thanks to the amazing warranty, accommodating interior, top-tier engines, and the eye-catching exterior design. Of course we could be considered biased. The best bet on deciding whether or not the 2025 Kia Carnival is worth it would be to visit your local Kia dealer and decide for yourself. 2025 Kia Carnival for Sale at Lawton Kia Ready to see the 2025 Kia Carnival in person?
