MPG
Out of the two engine options, the smaller 1.6L 4-cylinder is the most fuel efficient. It can achieve 27 mpg city, and 37 mpg highway, combining for a 31 mpg average. The faster 2.5L engine has just a slightly lower 24 mpg, and 32 mpg highway. In a test conducted by Car and Driver, both engine models actually over performed on their estimated mpg ratings by 5 and 4 mpg respectively.
