The 2017 Kia Forte is now one of the few cars to achieve the IIHS’ Top Safety Pick+ award and that’s a big news, Oklahoma. In terms of crash tests, the Forte passed with ease. It received a score of Good in every test including a difficult small-overlap front test that has prevented the Forte from earning TSP+ in the past. The Forte HID projectors equipped with automatic high beams also achieved a Good rating.
When it came to the crash-prevention systems, the Forte received a Superior rating when paired with its optional autonomous emergency braking system that can be obtained through the Tech or Premium package.
